03_hw_gored_heart_trimmedTV Land supports the American Heart Association (AHA) and its Go Red for Women initiative to help raise awareness about heart disease as the number one killer of women. As part of TV Land’s marketing partnership with the AHA, the network created PSAs for television and radio featuring the cast of Hot in Cleveland; the spots ran on TV Land and through the AHA’s extensive network of local TV and radio affiliates. Similar PSAs were also created with Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash, stars of TV Land’s new original sitcom The Soul Man. The spots have generated more than 160 million impressions, spreading the word about the prevalence of heart disease among women and explaining how the disease can be prevented.
